Episode 38: It’s ME Season

Hey Loves,

It’s ME Season. Choosing yourself can cause riffs in your circle of family and friends but sometimes, choosing yourself is the best thing for yourself. This year, be selfish with your wants and dreams. Be selfish with your priorities and be selfish with your ability to give whole heartedly because if you’re giving without receiving, your cup will become empty faster than you think and no one will be there to fill your cup back up. Remember, It’s YOUR TIME TO SHINE.

Tips + Tricks

Here are some tips on how you can put yourself first and begin to focus on your wants and needs.

  1. Just Do It! Sometimes just jumping head first into your wants and needs is the easiest and hardest thing to do but it is the most necessary thing to do.

  2. Know Your Worth! If you don’t know your value, people can easily take advantage of your worth and begin to make you believe that your not worth it. Once you understand your worth, you will no longer accept the half assness that people give you. Those people may begin to make you feel as though your acting brand new and guess what, you are because you finally understand who you are and what you bring to the table and will not accept anything less from them.

  3. Your goals and dreams can no longer wait! All of the years of putting your goals and dreams on the back burner to support someone else’s dreams and goals are a thing of the past. If they can’t support you the way you have been supporting them, move on. You need to push yourself and pour into yourself like you’ve poured into others and watch what you can accomplish when you do.

  4. What’s for you, is for you! Read it again.

  5. Some progress is better than no progress! You may take three steps forward to only take 6 steps back but sometimes the 6 steps back teach you things you need to know in order to propel you 30 steps forward. Embrace the progress, no matter which direction that heads.
