Friends are an essential part of life. They can help you get through some of your toughest times or they can cause you some of the worst pain. Growing up, people would naturally gravitate towards me. Whether at school or church, I was surrounded by people. But only a select few would be able to get close enough to me for me to consider them a friend. Those people were only considered a friend after showing me how selfless they truly were.
